The Mardikian Cafe Racer Watercraft :: The Super Sonic Jet Ski Story page was created to tell the story of a very scarce, unobtainable, and little known breed
of lightweight jet skis that came loaded with many PWC innovations. It includes a description of the custom aftermarket parts used on this Mardikian personal watercraft.

Even though the Cafe Racer looks like a very sophisticated, and unusually amazing watercraft, it seems that this personal watercraft wasn't
available to most PWC consumers. It was produced by Sonic Jet Performance for a short period of time before disappearing for ever.

I found this Cafe Racer in response to an ad in the Orange County Craiglist. A guy in Costa Mesa was offering this jet ski as a new, unfinished, and unregistered personal watercraft for $600. He said his brother, who worked for the manufacturing company years ago, had to accept this ski, and five others, as payment for his wages at the time the business was closed down. Heck, for that kind of money I decided to take a shoot at it. I paid the man, went home with my latest jet ski project, and a big smile in my face.

These jet skis came from factory with all sort of aftermarket parts, many PJS parts like; a powerful 135 HP 850CC super cylinder engine, exhaust manifold, head pipe, expansion chamber, dual exit waterbox muffler, and more. During the next few days, or weeks, I will be disassembling most parts out of it in order to check, restore, and make the personal watercraft a runner...
