Below are some pictures of my first try at riding a stand up jetski, a Limited 98 Kawasaki SXi Pro. Running the standup was a whole new challenge for me and it did required more skills than the seat down jet skis that I had used in the past. The modded 98 SXi Pro was, and still is, very difficult for me to master but just like riding a bicycles, the more you do it the better you get and once you catch on, there is a lots of fun waiting for you!

Because my inexperience with standups I wasn't able to open it up to full speed yet. I am hoping to get the top speed on my gps in the next trip to the river real soon. I like to send my thanks to Chuck Lenihan of San Diego, Ca, for all the time he expended getting me started with this standup jetski and for explaining so many new things about the racing world!
