Learning to Ride a Kawasaki SXi Pro. Below are a couple of pictures index of my second try at riding this Limited 750 SXi Pro standup jetski. This time I was feeling more confident of myself and the ride was intended at learning how to stay in the up position as standup riding should be. The 750 SXi Pro is famous for purposing a lot which make it very hard for me to master in the stand up style. Heck, I even shaved my beard to make the standup ski think that I was a younger guy. After riding that day I, a 57 years old man, became a kid again at heart... Papoloko

I have been riding seat down PWC for 6 years and finally, this year, I decided to try the stand up style watercraft. I still love the speed thrill I get riding my seat down water craft, the Kawasaki Ultra 150. These 2 style of riding are a complete different sensation. In one, your adrenaline rush out of the speed. In the other one, the standup style, you are more physically related to the water and you have to be quite more skilled to master it which, perhaps, that could translate to more fun on the water overall. They both offer lots of fun and to say that one is more fun than the other would not be partial to either one. Personal watercrafts, as a whole, has become a great sport for the general public and for of all age groups. These are just my opinions!
My body was hurting all over at the time of editing the video but, I can not wait to go back for more rides in this 750 SXi Pro and stand up on it again. I was told by some guys at the PWCToday and the Ultra 150 forum that, after riding standups skis for the first time, I would come back from the ride with a big ear to ear smile. If you look at my face, at the end of the video, it looks like they knew how I was going to be feeling long before I did. What a great time, it was cool to feel the breeze and water spray hitting my face standing up on it!
Due to high winds, the white cap and rough chop in the river I just rode a little bit that weekend. I had to wait for a break in the wind to ride and get a video clip but I did ride standing up, without falling, for about 2 miles up river in my way back to the launching ramp. I even made a few wide turns in the up position!
